My name is Kenia Lama.  My sister, Ani, and I have always been interested in design.  I studied Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires but later moved to the United States and started my own Architectural Firm in NJ called Kenia Lama Design.  Ani, on the other hand, studied Graphic Design at the Ort Institute and remained in Buenos Aires. We grew up together sharing a love for graphics, art and well-crafted homes. Our love for design and creativity led us to start an ecofriendly line of bags that we could create together. Our desire was to create products that represented our design approach and our respect for the environment.  Whether you live in Buenos Aires or New York, it is all the same planet and we need to do everything we can to protect it.

We love design and our planet.  We are committed to being participants in the changes that need to be made to leave our children with a viable future.   Our goal is to do our part in eliminating the use of plastic bags.  With that in mind, we created a bag that is made out of washable paper.

It is both durable and recyclable.  It can be washed by hand or in the washing machine and dried in the dryer. The more you wash it the softer it gets.
